A total of 26 beaches and 6 marinas along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast were awarded the for the 2026 season, announced by Blue Flag Bulgaria. This is the highest number of certified sites in the country's history, placing Bulgaria among the leading destinations focusing on clean nature and safety.

What does the "Blue Flag" certificate mean?

The distinction is the most recognizable eco-label in the world in tourism. Its awarding is based on strict international criteria, which include:

• Maintaining an exceptionally high level of service.

The certificate is renewed annually after a detailed inspection, which guarantees consistent quality.

• Golden Sands, Sunny Beach, "Chernomorets" Hut, Byala South;

• Sunny Beach (North, Central, South), Nessebar-South, Pomorie-East;
• Burgas-North, "Chernomorets" Camping, Sozopol (Central, Harmanite);
