Sailing celebration along the Black Sea coast

A total of 28 boats and their crews took part in this year's edition of the iconic "Cor Caroli" sailing regatta. The prestigious competition is dedicated to Captain Georgi Georgiev, the first Bulgarian to complete a solo circumnavigation of the globe.

The regatta's route passes through the most picturesque spots along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast: Burgas, Sveti Vlas, Varna, and Balchik.

Races in the Varna Bay

Today, the attention is focused on Varna Bay, where the races dedicated to the city's celebration are taking place. The organizers invite everyone who wishes to watch the sailing spectacle from the shore.

Who will triumph as the winner of this year's edition will become clear after the final stage tomorrow.
