Sunny weather will prevail over almost the entire country. Around water bodies there will be conditions for fog or low inversion clouds, but they will dissipate as the day progresses. Maximum temperatures will be between 10°C and 13°C, and in the areas north of the slopes of the Stara Planina – up to 12–14°C. It will remain cooler in places with fog – up to 5–8°C. A light west-northwesterly wind will blow, in Eastern Bulgaria – from the west.
Weather in Sofia
During the night to Monday, the weather will be mainly clear, in the morning – foggy. Minimum temperatures will be between minus 2°C and minus 1°C. During the day, the clouds will dissipate to sunny weather. Maximum temperatures will reach 11–12°C. A light westerly wind will blow.
Weather in the mountains
The weather in the mountains will be mostly sunny. A light north-northwesterly wind will blow. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 9°C, and at 2000 meters – around 2°C.
Weather on the Black Sea coast
Before noon it will be mostly cloudy or foggy. During the day – with broken high cloud cover. A moderate northerly wind will blow. Maximum temperatures will be between 10°C and 13°C. The sea state will be 1–2 degrees.
Weather in the Balkans
In the coming days, the weather will remain sunny and warm, and in the plains – foggy. There will also be conditions for all-day fog in Southern Romania and Serbia.
