Fires in Bulgaria: Data from the Last 24 Hours

Over the past 24 hours, 43 fires have been extinguished in Bulgaria. Fire services responded to 116 incident calls, and 64 rescue operations were carried out.

A total of 43 fires were extinguished in the country over the past 24 hours, according to the Main Directorate “Fire Safety and Protection of the Population” - Ministry of Interior, on the department's website.

Over the last 24 hours, fire departments responded to 116 incident calls, with no casualties. 

17 fires occurred with direct material damage, of which eight were in residential buildings; six were in vehicles.

26 fires occurred without material damage, of which nine were in waste; 15 were in cooking appliances and chimneys.

64 rescue operations and support operations were carried out, including during flooding; during accidents in vehicles; domestic or industrial incidents, etc.

9 false alarms were also registered.
