Active 24-hour fire department operations
A total of 154 fires were extinguished in the country over the past 24 hours, according to the General Directorate for Fire Safety and Civil Protection. The good news is that there were no deaths or injuries during the incidents.
Firefighting teams responded to 190 incident reports within 24 hours.
Incident statistics:
- Material damage: Reported in 34 fires, 9 of which occurred in residential buildings.
- Rescue operations: 29 rescue activities and assistance operations were carried out.
- False alarms: Seven false calls were recorded.
The fire department reminds citizens to be careful and to report incidents at the first sign of danger.
