The balance sheet for the last 24 hours
Over the past 24 hours, the structures of the General Directorate for Fire Safety and Civil Protection (GDFSCP) have responded to a total of 219 incident reports. The good news is that there are no injured or deceased citizens.
Distribution of fires
Out of the total of 167 extinguished fires, 33 resulted in direct material damage. Here is how they are distributed:
- 16 fires in residential buildings;
- 6 fires in vehicles;
- 2 fires in forest areas;
- 2 fires in auxiliary or makeshift structures;
- 3 fires in outdoor facilities;
- 1 fire in open areas within urbanized territories;
- 3 other incidents.
It is important to note that the teams also responded to 8 false calls, which hinder the work of the services.
Rescue operations
In addition to firefighting, firefighters carried out 44 rescue and auxiliary operations:
- 9 for road traffic accidents (RTA);
- 2 for incidents involving hazardous substances;
- 1 for an industrial accident;
- 1 for a household accident;
- 31 technical assistance operations.
