43 fires were extinguished in the past 24 hours, the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population" (GDPSPC) announced on its website. Yesterday, the Fire Safety and Protection units responded to 125 incident reports. There were no fatalities or injuries to citizens in the fires.
16 fires caused direct material damage, including four in residential buildings.
27 fires occurred without causing material damage, of which eight involved waste, 16 in cooking appliances and chimneys, and three others.
79 rescue operations and support operations were carried out, including six at traffic accidents in vehicles.
