Fires and Incidents: Fire Safety and Civil Protection Responded to 84 Calls in 24 Hours

Over the past 24 hours, 49 fires were extinguished. The Fire Safety and Civil Protection responded to 84 calls regarding incidents, including a fatal fire in Varna and rescue operations.

In the last 24 hours, 49 fires have been extinguished, and the units of the General Directorate “Fire Safety and Population Protection“ (FDSPP) have responded to 84 signals for incidents. This was announced by the FDSPP on its website.

On Tuesday morning, a man died in a fire in Varna.

12 fires occurred with direct material damage, including four in residential buildings and six in vehicles. 37 fires occurred without material damage.

31 rescue activities and support operations were carried out, including seven at accidents and three for rescuing animals.

The FDSPP also received four false calls.
