Traffic on the route between Sofia and Varna in the area of Boaza has been restored after a controlled fire, employees from the Regional Police Directorate in Lovech reported. The incident started around 3:50 PM, when an initial signal was given about burning dry grass.
Initial information indicated that there were no risks to property, but the fire front quickly spread and crossed to the other side of the roadway. As a result of the fire's expansion, stored wooden materials, an abandoned farm building, and a light cargo-type vehicle were destroyed.
A total of four fire crews were mobilized to extinguish the fire, which they successfully localized and suppressed. The important thing is that no people were injured during the incident, and firefighters continue to guard the area.
