Traffic on Trakia Motorway has been restored
Traffic conditions on the Trakia Motorway are returning to normal. Traffic in both directions in the area of the 69th kilometer is now open, following a temporary closure due to a fire near the exit for Velingrad.
Traffic was restored in stages: first in the direction of Sofia shortly before 8:00 p.m., and an hour later in the direction of Burgas.
Key highlights:
- Restrictions for trucks over 12 tons in the direction of Plovdiv have been removed.
- Firefighters continue to work on-site, gradually locating and extinguishing the remaining hot spots.
- The information was confirmed by Miroslav Stoyanov, spokesperson for the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Pazardzhik.
At the moment, the situation is under control, and drivers can pass through the section normally.
