In the past 24 hours, 11 serious road traffic accidents occurred in the country, resulting in 13 injuries, with no fatalities. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
In Sofia, one serious and 44 minor accidents were registered, with one person injured.
Since the beginning of the month, three people have died and 93 have been injured in 80 road incidents in the country.
Since the beginning of the year, 40 people have lost their lives in accidents, and 601 have been injured. The registered serious road traffic accidents since the beginning of 2026 are 493. Compared to the real data for fatalities (39) during the same period in 2025, one more participant in traffic has died in 2026.
