Dramatic footage of destruction filled the villa zone "Ostritsite 2" near Burgas after a sudden fire that quickly spread across a significant territory. Rescue services took immediate action to control the critical situation.

According to official information from experts, the fire spread from the first to the second villa zone, destroying approximately 1,800 acres of land. Senior Commissioner Lyubomir Barov from the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Population Protection" confirmed the scale of the disaster.

Initial data indicates complete destruction of more than 30 different buildings - residential, agricultural, and auxiliary. Among the losses are five vehicles, whose technical condition is yet to be determined.

The Mayor of Burgas, Dimitar Nikolov, issued an urgent appeal to property owners not to approach the threatened areas. Rescue teams worked under extremely challenging conditions - strong winds further complicated their intervention.

The director of the regional fire service, Commissioner Nikolay Nikolaev, assured that all people were successfully evacuated. Ten fire teams were mobilized to control the disaster, with a particularly notable case of rescuing a woman and child from the basement of a threatened building.

The BG-ALERT emergency notification system was activated twice, highlighting the seriousness of the situation. Volunteers and heavy machinery were involved in the large-scale fire suppression operation.

Rescue teams announced that they will continue to be on duty for at least 24 hours, taking all necessary measures to completely extinguish the fire and prevent potential re-ignitions.
