The "Baba Alino" investigation: The circle is closing

Minister of Interior Ivan Demerdzhiev announced that the investigation into the "Baba Alino" case near Varna is entering a decisive phase. According to him, there is sufficient evidence to bring multiple charges, with the goal of reaching all levels of complicity, including within the municipal administration.

"For many years, the state has turned a blind eye, thereby facilitating the illegal construction," Demerdzhiev emphasized.

The role of Oleg Nevzorov

The owner of the "Kub" corporation has been questioned multiple times by the Ministry of Interior, the Prosecutor's Office, and the State Agency for National Security (SANS). He claims that he was misled by intermediaries to whom he paid sums with the promise of legalizing the properties. Demerdzhiev is adamant that the investigation will focus on the people behind these schemes.
