Illegal activities continue in "Baba Alino"
Member of Parliament from "Vazrazhdane" Kosta Stoyanov and municipal councilor Svetoslav Yordanov conducted another inspection in the "Baba Alino" area near Varna. The results show that despite the issued orders for access prohibition, the illegal properties continue to be actively used.
"We see that the houses are inhabited, there is laundry, there is electricity, there is water, and finishing construction work was being carried out in one of the buildings," stated Kosta Stoyanov.
Main violations:
- Finishing activities: Workers identified at properties with a prohibition order from September 1, 2025.
- Illegal drilling: Despite the cover being found in place, the pump continues to operate, which is a clear sign of illegal water usage.
- Lack of control: Institutions are failing to stop access to the illegal structures.
Stoyanov called on the Mayor of Varna, Blagomir Kotsev, to restrict physical access to the area in order to put an end to the violations. Currently, the court has halted the demolition of 12 buildings until the completion of cases initiated by complaints from "Forest Club Varna" OOD and "Venedikt 02" EOOD.
"Vazrazhdane" categorically state that they will refer the matter to the prosecutor's office with a new report, insisting that the law must be the same for everyone.
