Successful fiscal control during summer events
There were no significant violations during the inspections of major music festivals held last week in the Burgas region. This was announced by the National Revenue Agency (NRA) following the control measures conducted during the events.
"Good fiscal discipline is an example to follow, especially in view of Bulgaria's upcoming hosting of Eurovision," the revenue agency noted.
Key aspects of the inspections:
- Constant monitoring: Two of the festivals were subject to continuous control, with a full inventory being conducted at one of them.
- Cashless payments: Organizers have widely shifted to digital payments, which ensures high transparency of turnover.
- Contrast with commercial outlets: While festivals are performing excellently, nearly 700 violations have been identified in the retail network along the Black Sea coast since the beginning of the summer.
Among the most frequent violations in commercial outlets remain the failure to issue fiscal receipts and discrepancies in cash balances. The NRA continues its intensified control along the entire Black Sea coast.
