Results from the intensified control in Pomorie Municipality
The revenue authorities in the "KRDS" unit and experts from the "Tourism" unit of Pomorie Municipality have completed a series of large-scale inspections covering the period up to July 31. The scope of the control included all hotels, accommodation establishments, catering outlets, and private lodgings within the municipality.
Systematic control has a significant preventive effect and improves the administrative discipline of businesses.
Main findings from the inspections:
- A total of 163 establishments were inspected, with violations found in only 18 of them.
- Changes in circumstances were identified in 2 tourist establishments.
- One case of unregulated provision of tourist services was registered.
- One establishment was found with tourists not registered in the Unified Tourist Information System (ESTI).
There were also 16 specialized inspections conducted by delegation in connection with documents from the National Revenue Agency (NRA) and other municipalities. The inspections confirm that there are no significant violations of the Tourism Act or the Local Taxes and Fees Act that would necessitate strict administrative-penal measures. The identified discrepancies are primarily administrative and do not affect the quality or safety of the services offered.
