Over 3.7 million BGN raised by "Bulgarian Christmas" (2023-2026)

Over 3.7 million leva were raised by "Bulgarian Christmas" in its 23rd edition, under the patronage of President Rumen Radev. The campaign supports chronically ill children until the end of November 2026. 250,000 SMS messages have been sent .

Over 3,720,000 leva has been raised in the 23rd edition of the charitable initiative “Bulgarian Christmas,” which is held under the patronage of President Rumen Radev, the press secretariat of the head of state announced. 

The campaign is dedicated to chronically and severely ill children and will continue until the end of November 2026. To date, 250,000 donation SMS messages have been sent . 

Applications for supporting children are accepted throughout the year, and applications for providing equipment for medical institutions until January 31, 2026.  

On Christmas, a charity performance was held at the Ivan Vazov National Theatre as part of the initiative. President Rumen Radev and his wife Desislava Radeva, representatives of state institutions, diplomats, donors, campaign ambassadors, and children supported by “Bulgarian Christmas” were present.

For the 23rd year, the cause “Bulgarian Christmas” has been establishing charitable traditions in the country and winning public support, the presidency recalls. Thanks to the active support of donors and partners, the initiative supports over 550 children every year and provides high-tech medical equipment for medical institutions across the country.
