Free examinations at "Sveta Anastasia"
Over 400 children from across the country have been registered for free preventive examinations at the "Sveta Anastasia" Children's Hospital in Burgas. More than 70 consultations were requested just for the start of the campaign on August 5th.
The first patient examined under the initiative was a 13-year-old boy from Sofia.
What specialists are participating?
Until the end of August, parents can book an appointment with leading specialists in the following fields:
- Pediatric gastroenterology
- Pediatric surgery and neurosurgery
- Pediatric urology
- Orthopedics and traumatology
- Diagnostic imaging and clinical laboratory
The examinations are held every weekday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM by prior appointment. It is important for parents to bring any available medical documentation for their children.
Hospital development
The hospital, which received its operating license at the end of July, plans to expand its departments after August 10th. In addition, the director, Dr. Blagomir Zdravkov, has announced a public procurement for two specialized ambulances to serve the emergency department.
