MAFF Organizes Information Campaign for Direct Payments 2026: Meetings in Six Cities

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food is organizing an information campaign for direct payments in 2026, which will cover six regional cities: Varna, Burgas, Sliven, Dobrich, Shumen, and Yambol. Meetings with agricultural producers will take place from March 31 to April 2. Experts from MAFF, NSSZ, SFRA and BFSA will provide information.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food (MAF) is organizing a national information campaign dedicated to direct payments for Campaign 2026. The meetings with farmers will be held from March 31st to April 2nd, 2026, in six regional cities: Varna, Burgas, Sliven, Dobrich, Shumen, and Yambol.

The initiative aims to provide up-to-date information regarding the application conditions and the implementation of interventions under the Strategic Plan for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas 2023-2027.

Meeting Schedule:

Experts from the MAF will present the application conditions for direct payments during Campaign 2026, the upcoming changes in GAEC, as well as the possibilities for support under the interventions in the field of environment and climate. Farmers will be able to ask questions and receive practical guidance.

Experts from the National Agricultural Advisory Service (NAAS), the State Fund Agriculture (SFA), and the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) are participating in the meetings.
