Nesebar Municipality Budget 2026: Focus on Development
Nesebar Municipality has officially presented the draft budget for 2026. The public hearing provided citizens with the opportunity to become familiar with the financial priorities and planned activities aimed at ensuring the sustainable development of the region.
The financial framework of the draft budget amounts to 73.538 million euros, with the main goal being a balance between social commitments and large-scale investments.
Main Priorities in the Capital Program
A capital program amounting to 13 million euros is planned for 2026. The investments are aimed at improving the urban environment in all settlements within the municipality:
- Reconstruction and construction of street and road infrastructure;
- Repair of sidewalks and modernization of street lighting;
- Improvement of public spaces;
- Construction and renovation of playgrounds and sports fields;
- Renovation of public buildings.
Transparent Management and Civic Participation
The administration emphasized that the budget was developed in compliance with the principles of effective management of public funds. Citizens continue to have the opportunity to submit their questions and suggestions, which ensures openness in the decision-making process.
