"NHIF with You": Information Campaign in Burgas
On August 17, 2026, at 6:00 PM, in front of the "Flora" Exhibition Center in Burgas, the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) is launching its "NHIF with You" initiative.
The goal of the event is to ensure direct dialogue between citizens and health experts, while facilitating access to information regarding health insurance rights.
The event will be attended by:
- The Governor of the NHIF, Dr. Asen Medzhidiev;
- The Mayor of Burgas Municipality, Mr. Dimitar Nikolov;
- The Regional Governor, Mr. Diko Dikov;
- Representatives of the NHIF-Burgas;
- The actress and writer Zdrava Kamenova.
What services will be presented?
Experts will explain key topics concerning every patient:
- Preventive check-ups and the issuance of referrals;
- Specifics of outpatient and inpatient care;
- Dental care and assistive devices provided by the NHIF;
- Issuance of the European Health Insurance Card.
The event includes an open "Q&A" session, as well as an opportunity for assistance in activating the eHealth mobile application, so you can track your electronic health record in real time.
