Employees from the General Directorate “Inspection for State Technical Supervision” at the State Agency for Metrological and Technical Supervision (DAMTN) are beginning mass inspections of passenger aerial ropeways and ski lifts, elevators installed in accommodation facilities, as well as the embedded elements, filtration systems, and pumps for swimming pools, adjacent to accommodation facilities, the agency's press center announced.

The announcement states that the campaign begins before the active winter season, with inspections to be carried out from December 1st to 19th, 2025. The aim is to ensure the safe technical operation and maintenance of the facilities.

DAMTN points out that if violations are found, coercive administrative measures will be applied.

BTA recalls that this year DAMTN initiated inspections of children's toys on the occasion of Children's Day, June 1st, with the campaign covering products for children under 14 years old, offered in the retail network throughout the country.
