Large-scale safety inspections on the beaches

The Executive Agency "Maritime Administration" has launched massive inspections of water attractions along the entire Black Sea coast. The purpose of the inspections is to minimize the risk of accidents during the active summer season.

The safety of tourists is a shared responsibility between attraction operators and service users.

What are the authorities inspecting?

The inspections are being carried out jointly with the "Civil Aviation Administration" and the "Border Police". So far, bases in the area of Burgas and Sunny Beach have been inspected, and no violations have been found.

Advice for tourists

The Ministry of Transport urges vacationers to mandatorily undergo safety briefings before any attraction. Do not miss checking the condition of the life-saving equipment provided to you. Surprise inspections will continue throughout the summer to ensure the peace of mind of beachgoers following the fatal accidents of previous years.
