Grim statistics: 18 serious accidents in just 24 hours
Tense situation on the country's roads. According to data from the Ministry of Interior (MoI), 18 serious traffic accidents have been registered in the last 24 hours. As a result of the incidents, two people have died and 23 have been injured.
In Sofia, the situation remains critical with 28 minor and 5 serious accidents, in which five people were injured.
Data for the month of July
Since the beginning of July, roads in Bulgaria have become the scene of numerous incidents. The statistics are alarming:
- Total number of road accidents: 194
- Deceased: 12 people
- Injured: 235 people
The Traffic Police urges drivers to exercise increased caution, maintain distance, and strictly comply with road conditions and speed limits.
