Road conditions: 31 accidents in the last 24 hours
According to the Ministry of the Interior, 31 serious road accidents have been registered across the country in the last 24 hours. As a result of the incidents, 42 people have been injured with varying degrees of severity.
The situation in Sofia
In the capital, 26 road accidents were registered – one serious and 25 minor incidents, in which one person was injured.

Statistics since the beginning of the year show a worrying trend:
- Fatalities: 298 people have lost their lives on the road.
- Comparison: The number of victims is 31 more compared to the same period last year.
- Injured: The total number of injured to date reaches 5,319 people.
The Traffic Police urges drivers to exercise increased caution, maintain a safe distance, and strictly follow traffic rules.
