Arrest following reckless driving
A 26-year-old driver of a passenger car with Vratsa registration was detained following a police check near Pomorie. The incident occurred this morning around 09:00 on the road from Burgas to Pomorie.
The police stopped the vehicle due to reckless driving, which raised suspicions about the driver's condition.
Positive drug test
During the on-site checks, the drug test gave a positive result for the use of cocaine. In an attempt to avoid the consequences of the law, the driver offered the police officers a bribe of 100 euros (two 50-euro banknotes).
Two fast-track proceedings
The man was immediately detained. Two fast-track proceedings have been initiated against him:
- For driving under the influence of narcotic substances.
- For offering a bribe to officials.
