This year, the day before Petya Dubarova's birthday, the house-museum, together with the Sea Casino Cultural Center, will celebrate the birthday of its patron with the traditional laying of flowers at her monument. Students from the 4th grade of the "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" Secondary School will participate in the ceremony, under the guidance of Mrs. Darena Badzhakova.

Creative Experience for the Youngest

The celebration of the 64th anniversary of the birth of the youngest Bulgarian poetess will take place today, April 24, at 11:00 am in front of the monument. The program will continue with an unusual creative workshop on the topic "Draw me a verse".

The youngest artists of Burgas from "Lyuben Karavelov" Primary School and "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" Secondary School will participate in this artistic adventure. The creative meeting will be held at 3:00 pm at the Sea Casino Cultural Center.

"The museum's ambition is for the art workshops related to Petya's work to take shape as traditional events and to include both students interested in visual art, and students from the National Academy of Arts - Burgas."

Future Initiatives and Competitions

The museum is actively working to expand its cultural program. We remind you that the first edition of the Illustration and Graphics Competition based on images and motifs from the works of Petya Dubrova with the participation of students from the National Academy of Arts - Burgas, already took place on December 17.

Another traditional event awaits its triumphant finale - on May 15, for yet another year, the awards will be presented to the laureates of the National Literary Competition "Petya Dubrova forget me not".
