91 Fires Extinguished in the Last 24 Hours in Bulgaria

In the past 24 hours, 91 fires were extinguished in Bulgaria. There were no fatalities or injuries. The fire and rescue services responded to 151 incident calls, including rescue operations.

A total of 91 fires were extinguished in the country in the past 24 hours, according to the Main Directorate "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population" (PBFPP) on its website in information on the operational situation today as of 06:00. There were no fatalities or injuries in the fires.

During the period from 00:00 to 24:00 on January 3, the PBFPP units responded to 151 signals for incidents.

17 fires occurred with direct material damage, of which nine - in residential buildings, four - in vehicles, one - in an outdoor facility. 74 fires occurred without material damage, of which 11 - in dry grass, forest litter and shrubs, one - in stubble, 41 - in waste, 18 - in cooking appliances and chimneys, and three others.

55 rescue activities and auxiliary operations were carried out, of which three in vehicle accidents, one for fallen trees, stones and objects, 51 actions for providing technical assistance (cooperation with other structures of the Ministry of Interior - three, removal of dangerous objects - 36, rescuing an animal, assisting citizens - two actions, as well as other structures and departments - seven actions).

Five false calls were also received, the Main Directorate "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population" informs.
