58 fires in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours: Woman injured in incident in Karnobat

Over the past 24 hours, fire crews have responded to more than 100 alerts. A 72-year-old woman was injured, and damage has been reported to both residential and industrial buildings.

A busy 24 hours for firefighters: 58 fires across the country

Over the past 24 hours, a total of 58 fires have been extinguished in Bulgaria, announced the General Directorate for Fire Safety and Population Protection (GDFSPP) at the Ministry of Interior. As of 06:00 a.m., data shows that fire crews responded to a total of 102 incident reports.

Fortunately, there were no fatalities, but a 72-year-old woman was injured in a fire in the town of Karnobat.

In addition to actual incidents, three false calls were registered on 112. Fire crews remain on standby to respond to any emergency situations.
