180 calls in 24 hours: Bulgarian firefighters have a busy Wednesday

More than 140 fires were extinguished in the country over the last 24 hours. There is one injured person, and the teams of the General Directorate for Fire Safety also responded to 27 rescue operations.

Intensive 24 hours for the fire department in Bulgaria

Over the past 24 hours, fire departments in the country have responded to 180 emergency calls. According to the General Directorate for Fire Safety and Civil Protection (GDFSCP), a total of 141 fires were extinguished, and unfortunately, one person was injured in the incidents.

Distribution of fires:

A total of 27 rescue operations were carried out, including assistance during accidents, water drainage, and animal rescue.

The fire department added that 12 cases of false alarms were also registered. Teams remain on standby to respond to new calls.
