An intense day for firefighters in Bulgaria
Over the past 24 hours, the teams of the General Directorate for Fire Safety and Population Protection have responded to 184 incident reports. As of 06:00 AM, the data shows that a total of 134 fires have been extinguished.
Unfortunately, two people were injured in the incidents.
Incident statistics:
- Fires with material damage: 24 (9 of them in residential buildings);
- Fires without material damage: 110;
- Rescue operations: 43 successful actions;
- False alarms: 7 reports.
Fire department teams continue to work under a heightened state of readiness to ensure the safety of the population and to respond promptly to every signal.
