Intensive 24 hours for firefighters in Bulgaria
Over the past 24 hours, teams from the General Directorate for Fire Safety and Population Protection have responded to a total of 198 incident reports. As of 6:00 a.m., the extinguishing of 145 fires has been confirmed, and unfortunately, there are three injured citizens.
Statistics as of 6:00 a.m. record 145 extinguished fires and 43 rescue operations in the country.
Distribution of fires:
- With direct material damage: 25 fires, including 7 in residential buildings, 3 in outbuildings, 4 in vehicles, and 2 in forest areas.
- Without material damage: 120 fires, including 75 cases of burning dry grass, bushes, and forest litter, 2 in stubble fields, and 39 in waste.
Rescue activities and false alarms:
In addition to extinguishing fires, the teams carried out 43 rescue and assistance operations, 4 of which were following vehicle accidents. There were also 10 recorded cases of false alarms.
