53 fires extinguished in the country over the last 24 hours: One person injured

Over the past 24 hours, firefighters have responded to 97 calls. 53 fires were extinguished and dozens of rescue operations were carried out. See the latest data from the General Directorate for Fire Safety and Civil Protection.

Active operations of fire crews in Bulgaria

A total of 53 fires have been extinguished across the country over the past 24 hours, reported the General Directorate for Fire Safety and Civil Protection (GDFSCP). Fortunately, there are no fatalities, but one injured citizen has been registered.

Fire crews have responded to a total of 97 incident reports as of 06:00 today.

Rescue operations

In addition to fighting fires, the crews carried out 41 rescue activities and assistance operations. Five of these were directly related to traffic accidents, where the intervention of specialized teams was required.

Three false calls were also registered, which diverted resources from actual critical situations.
