146 fires in 24 hours: Three injured and significant damage across the country

The General Directorate for Fire Safety and Civil Protection reported an intense 24-hour period with 146 extinguished fires, 25 cases involving material damage, and 35 rescue operations. See the details of the incidents.

Intensive 24 hours for firefighters in Bulgaria

Over the past 24 hours, teams from the General Directorate for Fire Safety and Civil Protection (GDFSCP) have responded to numerous signals. A total of 146 fires have been extinguished across the country, and unfortunately, there are three registered casualties.

The data from the GDFSCP shows that direct material damage was concentrated in 25 of the cases.

Distribution of incidents:

In addition to fighting the fire element, firefighters carried out 35 rescue activities and assistance operations, including 6 interventions during road traffic accidents. During the day, 14 false calls were also registered, which hindered the work of the teams.
