Activity of fire crews over the past 24 hours
Over the past 24 hours, fire departments across the country have responded to a total of 151 incident reports, 116 of which resulted in successfully extinguished fires. The good news is that there were no casualties among citizens during the incidents.
The information, current as of 6:00 a.m. this morning, shows a high workload for the teams of the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Civil Protection".
Distribution of fires:
- With material damage: 19 fires occurred, of which 7 were in residential buildings and 3 in vehicles.
- Without material damage: 97 cases were registered, mainly involving dry grass, forest litter, shrubs, and 36 fires in waste.
In addition to firefighting, the teams carried out 27 rescue activities and auxiliary operations, including intervention in three road accidents. Unfortunately, 8 cases of false calls were also recorded.
