Over the past 24 hours, 43 fires were extinguished in Bulgaria, with two people injured. 118 incident reports were registered, and 69 rescue operations were carried out.

A total of 43 fires were extinguished in the country over the past 24 hours, and two people were injured, the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Population Protection" announced on its website.

A 44-year-old man suffered second-degree burns to his hands in a fire in a kitchen in Varna. The cause of the incident was forgotten food on a stove hob.

An 85-year-old pensioner was injured in a fire in a house in the Haskovo village of Kazak, which broke out due to a short circuit. The man has burns on both palms and face.

Direct material damage occurred in 21 fires.

Over the last 24 hours, the fire department teams responded to 118 calls for incidents. 69 rescue operations and support operations were carried out. Six false alarms were registered.
