40 Fires Extinguished in Bulgaria in 24 Hours (Data from Fire Safety and Civil Protection)

Over the past 24 hours, the Fire Safety and Civil Protection units responded to 65 calls. 12 fires caused direct material damage. There were no fatalities or injuries.

A total of 40 fires were extinguished in the country in the past 24 hours, the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population" (FDSPP) reports.

From 00:00 to 24:00 on January 31, the FDSPP units responded to 65 signals for incidents. 12 fires occurred with direct material damage, of which two were in residential buildings, one in an auxiliary building, four in vehicles, one in an outdoor facility and four other fires.

28 fires occurred without material damage, 19 rescue activities and support operations were carried out.

There were six false calls during the day.

No one died or was injured in the fires.
