Over 150 incidents were handled by firefighters across the country in the last 24 hours. There are no reports of casualties during the containment of 94 fires.

Operational situation of the fire department in Bulgaria

Over the past 24 hours, the units of the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Civil Protection" (GDFSCP) have responded to 151 incident reports. Thanks to the quick reaction of the teams, 94 fires were extinguished, and fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries.

According to GDFSCP data, as of 06:00 in the morning, the situation is under control.

Damage statistics

There were a total of 17 fires with material damage, distributed as follows:

The number of incidents without material damage is significant – 77 cases, of which 37 were ignitions in dry grass, forest litter, and bushes, and 32 in waste.

Rescue activities and false alarms

In addition to firefighting, the teams carried out 50 rescue activities and technical assistance operations, including those for accidents. During the same period, 7 false calls to the services were also recorded.
