A total of 62,808 farmers submitted applications, declaring 1,124,689 parcels with a total area of 3,858,429 hectares. The 2025 direct payments campaign was completed on time, without an extension of the application deadline. By the final deadline - June 9, farmers submitted a total of 62,808 applications for support under the direct payments interventions. A total of 1,124,689 parcels with a total area of 3,858,429 hectares were declared. The data from the submitted applications confirm the trend of gradual consolidation of the holdings.

Under the main intervention - "Basic income support for sustainability" (BISS), 1,097,771 parcels with an area of 3,840,932 hectares were declared for support. For the coupled income support interventions, 8,474 applicants submitted applications with 324,633 large ruminants (LR) and 3,181 applications requesting support for 385,269 small ruminants (SR). An additional 487,296 SR were applied for by 4,443 farmers under the Transitional National Aid Intervention for Ewes and/or She-Goats.

The interest in the climate, environment and animal welfare interventions (eco-schemes) continues to grow. The largest increase in the declared areas is under the Eco-scheme for maintaining and improving biodiversity and ecological infrastructure (Eco-BREI) - 20,211.14 hectares, submitted by 3,529 farmers. A significant increase in the areas is also noted under the Eco-scheme for organic farming (livestock) (Eco-OFL) - 69,623.87 hectares. An upward trend is also observed in the Eco-scheme for preserving and restoring soil potential - promoting green manure and organic fertilization (Eco-PRSP), for which 2,529,161 hectares were applied for by 9,629 farmers.

Under the Eco-scheme for reducing the use of pesticides (Eco-RUP), 17,750 applications were submitted for 3,040,705 hectares. The changes in the Eco-scheme for extensive maintenance of permanent grassland (Eco-PGM), which allow the declaration of arable land with fodder and/or protein crops, have led to an increase in interest in the intervention - 3,308 livestock farmers have submitted applications, declaring a total of 200,381 hectares.

Under the Eco-scheme for crop diversification (Eco-CD), 3,009,855 hectares were applied for, with interest remaining stable compared to 2024. For the coupled support interventions for fruits, 31,229 hectares were applied for, and for vegetables - 146,273.71 hectares.

In 2025, the number of applications and areas submitted by young farmers also increased. 2,213 farmers with a total of 138,316 hectares have applied for the intervention for Additional Income Support for Young Farmers. There is also increased interest in the intervention for small farmers - this campaign has already received 7,015 applications.

In 2025, 1,768 farmers with an area of 439,493 hectares declared their intention to participate in insurance schemes. A doubling is also reported in the number of applications submitted with a qualified electronic signature (QES) through the Electronic Services System (ESS) - 862 applicants used this method, which is twice as many as last year.
