Roadwork Starts on Burgas–Sarafovo Route, Temporary Traffic Changes in Place

From May 16 to June 15, traffic to Sarafovo will be redirected into the opposite lane due to pavement renovation

Burgas Municipality announces that starting at 09:00 on May 16, 2025, road repairs will begin between Kableshkovo and Sarafovo interchanges on the route from Burgas to Sarafovo.

Traffic in this section will be diverted to the opposite lane (toward Burgas), operating two-way until June 15. The project includes resurfacing and new lane markings.

Suggested alternative routes:
➡️ To Pomorie: Kableshkovo – Laka – Kamenar – Road I-9 (Pomorie roundabout)
➡️ To Sunny Beach/Varna: Kableshkovo – Laka – Kableshkovo – Road I-9 (Aheloy roundabout)

Renovation of the opposite lane (Sarafovo to Burgas) will follow after the summer season.
Drivers are advised to follow the temporary traffic rules and use the detours provided.
