Temporary repair work on the Burgas lane of the "Trakia" motorway in the regions of Sofia, Pazardzhik and Burgas will be carried out from June 23 to June 27. On June 23 and 24, pavement repairs will be carried out in a section with a length of 500 meters at km 0 of the motorway in the Sofia region. On Monday, June 23, the works will be between 8 and 17 hours, with the passage in the emergency and one active lane being restricted. Traffic to Burgas will pass in the overtaking and one active lane. Traffic towards Kazichene will be redirected along a detour route from the "Novi Han" interchange at km 5 of the "Trakia" motorway, after which it will return to the motorway towards Sofia to the Sofia ring road.
The repair of the pavement at the exit of Sofia will continue on June 24, with traffic being restricted in the emergency and outer active lane, and traffic will pass in the overtaking and middle active lane. Vehicles traveling from the village of Lozen towards Burgas will be redirected along a detour route from the "Ring Road" interchange through the connections of the Sofia ring road.
On June 23 from 5 to 13 hours, for mowing the grassy areas, the passage in the overtaking lane towards Burgas between km 89 and km 99 in the Pazardzhik region will be restricted, with vehicles moving in the active lane.
On June 25 from 8 hours to June 27 at 8 hours, for pavement repairs, the passage on the Burgas lane between km 358 and km 359, in the Burgas region, will be restricted. Traffic in the section will be carried out in the overtaking lane, with the passage in the active and emergency lanes being restricted.
The Road Infrastructure Agency calls on drivers not to undertake risky overtaking and not to use the emergency lanes for faster movement in heavy traffic, so as not to obstruct the passage of vehicles with a special mode of movement in case of an incident.
