Temporary restrictions on Trakia Motorway due to urgent road surface repair

Drivers must be extremely careful in the coming days on a section of the Trakia highway. From the morning of June 25 to the morning of June 27, traffic organization will be changed due to a planned road surface repair in the Plovdiv area.

Experts from the Road Infrastructure Agency will carry out large-scale activities to patch the asphalt surface. Special modes for vehicle passage will be introduced during the intervention.

In the lane towards Sofia, two lanes will be designated for movement towards the capital and one lane towards Burgas. In parallel, in the lane towards the seaside city, one lane will be functioning for travelers. A fundamentally important condition is limiting heavy traffic in the far left lanes.

The institution emphasizes that the sole purpose of these temporary measures is to guarantee road safety and improve travel comfort. Drivers are called to show maximum attention, strictly follow the introduced rules, and avoid risky maneuvers.
