Divers discover the season with underwater wine maturation on St. Anastasia Island

On Monday, June 16, 2025, divers from the Association of Underwater World Lovers "Friends of the Sea - Burgas" and their guests from Bulgaria and abroad gathered to mark the official opening of the summer season on the island of St. Anastasia. A group of over forty certified divers performed a dive to the newly discovered underwater park and conducted the traditional annual cleaning of the seabed. As part of the initiative, the divers submerged two crates of high-quality regional wine, which will age under water for a certain period of time before being brought ashore and consumed by the island's guests. Additionally, the participants had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful island beach and try the famous local mussels prepared by the staff.
