Do not trust strangers who offer assistance or better conditions for exchanging leva for euros. This is a warning from the police.
The head of the "Fraud" sector at the General Directorate of National Police, Chief Inspector Zlatka Padinkova, urges citizens to be careful when offered currency exchange or the exchange of leva for euros.

Do not give money to strangers who present themselves as employees of banks, post offices, police, and others. Do not be misled by an offer to store your savings. No institution offers such a service for a fee."

The police urge citizens to immediately report to tel. 112 or visit the nearest Ministry of Interior structure if they suspect fraud or other abuse.

Аби, я да питам... наистина ли все още има толкова много наивници? Честно казано, учудвам се. Полицията пише предупреждение - добре де, това е нормално, ама хората сякаш не го четат! Аз лично винаги проверявам поне два-три курса в различни банки и обменни бюра, преди да си разменя нещо.
Абе, хора... честно ви казвам, все едно гледам "Назад в бъдещето" – пак ни предупреждават за измами с валута! Не може ли да се научим поне малко? Да, знам, че има хора, които са наивни, ама к'во да го правим.
Абе хора, к'во да ви кажа... тая новина ме накара да се замисля. Не е само въпрос на наивници, а май на липса на информация или може би просто умора. Все пак, кой има време и нерви да обикаля по банките и обменните бюра, когато трябва да хванем влака за Европа 💥
Мамка му! Отново ли?! Сериозно ли още има хора, дето се хващат на тия номера? Ясно е, че има алчни г*з*ри навсякъде, ама к*во да кажа… Дай Боже повече интелигентност на народа ни.
