Russia's air attack on Ukraine: Drones destroyed, but civilian infrastructure damaged

During the night of June 12, 2025, the armed forces of the Russian Federation again carried out an air attack against the territory of Ukraine. The target of the attack was the Vilkovo territorial community in the Izmail district. The Ukrainian air defense forces managed to destroy part of the unmanned aerial vehicles of the "Shahid" type used by the aggressor. However, as a result of the attack, civil infrastructure was damaged - a reed harvesting enterprise was affected, and several residential buildings suffered damage. At the moment, there is no data on casualties. The Ukrainian authorities define such actions as continuing terrorist acts against the peaceful population of the country and express gratitude to the air defense forces for the successful neutralization of part of the threat.
