Bulgaria's kickboxing champion Vasil Hristov will fight Charlie "The Bully" Daines in the main bout at MAX FIGHT 67 on November 28 at the Mladost hall in Burgas. Tickets are already on sale online at kupibileti.bg.

Hristov, 22, was born in Montana and is going for his fourth straight win. He has fought all his professional bouts in the MAX FIGHT ring, trained by coach Delyan Slavov.

Hristov turned pro at MAX FIGHT 58 on May 25, 2024, when he was just 20. He beat 22-year-old Stoyan Petrov by unanimous decision. A year earlier, Petrov had won both the Kozloduy Cup and the Top Ten Open in Plovdiv.

At MAX FIGHT 64, Hristov picked up his first knockout win, beating Denis Milev, Bulgaria's muay thai runner-up, who was making his own debut at 18. Milev came out attacking hard, but a high kick from Hristov sent him into the ropes, and the referee stopped the fight after the next punch.

Hristov beat Romanian fighter Robert Badila at MAX FIGHT 65 by unanimous decision after three rounds. Badila was far more experienced, and only his toughness saved him from a knockout. Coach Delyan Slavov also worked the corner that night for his other fighter, Teodor Hristov, a Glory star and Vasil's training partner.

A few months before his world kickboxing title fight against Chico Kwasi, Teodor Hristov beat Sabri Ben Henia in Plovdiv.

Daines, also 22, is British and holds a Spanish passport. He has 4 wins in his professional career. He won the Balearic Islands K1 title in 2022, and the following year picked up Spain's award from the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation.

At MAX FIGHT 64, he knocked out Aleksandar Yotovski seconds before the end of round two. The Bulgarian got back up, but the referee stopped the fight because he couldn't continue. Yotovski had picked up a bonus for his performance in his previous fight.

At MAX FIGHT 66, Daines lost to Konstantin Stoykov, a multiple Bulgarian kickboxing champion. This will be his third straight appearance at a MAX FIGHT gala, and he wants to get back to winning — and hand Hristov the first loss of his career.
