On June 9, the Unmanned Systems Forces of Ukraine, together with other components of the Defense Forces, carried out a high-precision strike on production facilities from the Russian military-industrial complex - the enterprises "VNIIR-Progress" and "ABS Elektro" in Cheboksary, Chuvash Republic, Russia. According to the Ukrainian side, the targeted enterprise produces adaptive "Comet" type antennas used in attack unmanned aerial vehicles of the "Shahid" type, unified planning and correction modules (UMPC) for guided air bombs (KAB), as well as other high-precision weapons. At least two drones attacked the object, resulting in a large-scale fire. The data on the extent of the damage is still being clarified.

In response to the attack, the Russian air authorities imposed restrictions on the operation of airports in Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Saratov and Tambov under the so-called "Carpet" plan. Ukraine emphasizes that such strikes on facilities related to Russia's aggressive military campaign will continue until its complete cessation.
