On May 24, a new stage of the exchange of prisoners of war between Ukraine and Russia took place in Turkey. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that 307 Ukrainian citizens have been returned, and this is part of an agreement for an exchange in a ratio of 1000 to 1000. In just two days, Ukraine has already returned 697 people from Russian captivity, and Zelensky stressed that the exchange will continue on May 25.
News of the exchange that took place began to appear after 1:00 pm. The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, had announced good news, which Zelensky subsequently confirmed.
