Ukraine and Russia reach key agreements on the exchange of prisoners and bodies of the deceased.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov announces that Ukraine and Russia have reached an agreement to exchange all severely ill prisoners of war, as well as all captured persons under the age of 25. This is an important humanitarian step in the conditions of the ongoing Russian aggression. In addition, the parties have also agreed to exchange the bodies of fallen servicemen according to the formula "6000 for 6000". Ukraine has proposed to hold an additional meeting with the Russian side by the end of June. At the same time, the Russian representative Vladimir Medinsky made a provocative statement in response to Ukraine's insistence on the return of illegally deported Ukrainian children, stating: "Don't stage a performance for the childless European elderly".
