Ukrainian forces have launched heavy strikes against Russian oil refineries and a transport hub, disrupting the fuel supply to the Russian army. The attack caused significant fires and explosions, raising concerns about the escalation of the conflict.

Ukrainian forces have launched heavy strikes against Russian military logistics, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

The night of September 20 was marked by a large-scale operation targeting three key facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation, directly related to the fuel supply of the Russian armed forces.

The targets of the strikes were two oil refineries " Saratov and Novokuybyshevsk " as well as an important transport station, LDCS " Samara ", a key center for the formation of Urals export oil.

Reports indicate serious fires and explosions as a result of the attack. The extent of the damage is still being assessed, but it is clear that the strikes have dealt a significant blow to Russia"s ability to supply its troops with fuel.

The General Staff emphasizes the direct link between the attacked facilities and the Russian military machine. This strike could have significant consequences for Russian military power and its ability to continue its aggressive actions.

Such actions raise serious questions about the observance of international law and the escalation of the conflict.

The information from the General Staff is categorical: Ukrainian special operations forces also participated in the attack on LDCS " Samara ", highlighting the coordination and precision of the operation.

So far, there is no official information from the Russian side regarding the extent of the damage and casualties. The Kremlin"s silence is in itself eloquent and could suggest the seriousness of the situation.

The evidence of the damage inflicted, however fragmented, speaks of potentially large disruptions in Russian fuel supplies, creating serious difficulties for their military operations.

The events will be carefully analyzed by experts in geopolitics and military strategies, as they could potentially have a significant impact on the course of the conflict.

The aftermath of this attack is primarily in the focus of international attention, highlighting the risks of escalation in an already extremely unstable context.
